I made an adaptation of the droodle you see in my blog header to make a new background for use on my Twitter, FriendFeed and personal page (and ofcourse on my public card at My Name Is E).
A quick pentool sketch turned 3D in Hexagon and rendered in Cararra. Finished in Photoshop.

Yesterday we walked into the Rotterdam shop Lokal Heroz and immediatly fell for a wonderful work of art made by Diederik Kraaijeveld (aka Oudhout, which means old wood).

It was not for sale, and would probably cost us more than a neat car. But a limited edition canvas print with a photo of the work of art was available in the shop (nr 1/10).

Visit the site to see the wonderful Pop Art the artist makes of old found wood. I love it!

Today I discovered Jamendo, and bumped unto an album I really like, a strange combination of ambient, heavy guitars, synths and occasional voices.

Of course taste is really personal, but there are thousands of tracks waiting to be discovered. Without any fear of getting fined hundreds of thousands of dollars.
